Open Access Policy

JACVS provides immediate open access to all published content. Readers may access, download, read, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to published articles without subscription or registration barriers, subject to the conditions of the applicable Creative Commons licence.

The journal supports the principle that making research freely available encourages wider dissemination, international collaboration, public engagement, and the advancement of knowledge. No embargo period is applied to published content.

Authors are permitted to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, personal websites, and other non-commercial scholarly platforms, provided that the original publication and DOI are properly cited.
